The Bible in the Lutheran Tradition introduces readers to the ways Lutherans have interpreted the Bible from the time of Martin Luther (1483-1546) to the present day. With sensitivity and balance, it explores disagreements between Lutherans about the role of modern biblical scholarship, abortion, women's ordination, and LGBTQIA+ inclusion.
