In this detailed commentary and translation, Liapis highlights the features of Rhesus, a tragedy traditionally (but wrongly) attributed to Euripides. The volume explores the essential elements of language, style, character-portrayal, and metre, while scrutinizing the play's stagecraft, plot-construction, and authenticity.
