The accuracy of satellite geodetic data has approached the centimeter level and is expected to improve further. This bodes well for the application of geodetic data to the solution of problems in solid earth, oceanic and atmospheric sciences. This report addresses areas of investigation that is aimed to benefit from this improvement in accuracy.
