The Scél Mucci Mic Dathó, or 'Story of Mac Dathó's Pig,' is justly regarded as one of the very best Irish Sagas. It is well adapted therefore to serve as an introduction to Early Irish Literature, and it is for this purpose that this 1927 edition is primarily intended.
