Australia led the world in securing woman’s suffrage, and suffrage feminists in Australian theatre had international renown. This biography of three such playwrights – Katharine Susannah Prichard, Stella Miles Franklin, and Inez Isabel Bensusan – reveals their important contributions. A play by each dramatist is also included.
