In 1952 BSA needed to publicise their new 500cc Star Twin motorcycle. They took three standard bikes, rode them to Austria, entered the 1952 International Six Days Trial, won three Golds, rode to Norway for a speed test, and back to Birmingham, all under ACU observation. the rider of one of the three bikes tells the story of this epic achievement.
