The early Christians' experiences of the risen Christ through the Spirit had a major role in the development of early Christology. Paul's application of the Spirit-language to describe and interpret the believers' experiences of the risen Lord, shows that he presupposes a redefinition of the very concept of God that includes Christ within the Godhead.
