A requirement for the safe design of thermoplastic parts is the ability to precisely predict mechanical behaviour by ï¬nite element simulations. The presented material model considers linear-elastic behaviour and non-linear orthotropic stress-state dependent viscoplastic deformation for arbitrary fibre distributions.
